Note : This isn't a food review, this is still a skincare review.

Hey guys! If you checked out my previous haul you probably already know that I purchased all three of the EH's Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack and today I've decided to review the green tea version first. Tbh, I didn't have much expectations from the sleeping pack and bought them purely because of the super adorable packaging. So after actually trying this sleeping pack out, have my opinions on it changed? Let's continue on the review to know then! :D

Other than Green Tea, there's Black Tea and Strawberry available too! Green Tea is to make your skin clear and clean, Black Tea is to make your skin glow and plump up and Strawberry is for healthy and dewy.

The sleeping pack is stored in this cute tiny plastic container that looks like a bubble tea cup! The cup is actually much more smaller than I thought. It's a clear plastic cup and the sleeping pack itself is actually green in color.

The cap. The good thing about the cap is you can place your "straw" (spoon/spatula) on it.

Tbh, as someone who always lose her spatula, I'm really thankful to Etude (lmao I actually typed Youtube instead of Etude just now, brain, what's wrong with you D:) for this brilliant idea.

Overall, I really like how adorable the packaging is and I think most people who bought it definitely because they are attracted to the packaging just like me, lol. I really like how you can attach the spatula on the cup too. The only thing I don't really like is how the bubbles are sitting on the bottom of the packaging so I've to dip the spatula deep inside to pick the bubbles then the spatula ended up picking a lot of the sleeping pack too.

SCENT

It smells really really nice! It's fragranced but it's still subtle so imo those with sensitive noses won't have any problems with it too. I can't really tell what it smells like but it smells like my brother's perfume! lol. I've to ask him what perfume he's using..

Alcohol Denat.. although this sleeping pack contains Alcohol Denat, because other emollient ingredients are also present in the formula, I feel like the Alcohol Denat won't be much of a problem. 1,3-propanediol is considered to be of low hazard to bodily health by the Cosmetics Database. The National Library of Medicine classifies this ingredient as a skin and eye irritant. There are no safety warnings for Hexanediol, 1,2-hexanediol (OSHA). However, it has been known to be an irritant in some cases, especially to the eyes. It can also cause dermatitis, although the Cosmetics Working Group offers no warnings for its use. Sodium Hyaluronate it helps your skin bring and absorb water more effectively. Dipropylene glycol has been shown to be of low toxicity, but to be an active irritant of the skin and the eye area. Pantenol has been shown to be a skin irritant. Sodium Polyacrylate is considered a moderate hazard ingredient, primarily due to contamination concerns. This ingredient can contain methacrylic acid, acrylic acid or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, known toxins that can be formed during its synthetic processing. It is also classified as "expected to be toxic or harmful" because of potential organ system toxicity effects, according to the Environmental Canada Domestic Substance List. Although Hydrogenated Lecithin has been given the GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) rating by the FDA, there are some concerns over its carcinogenic properties and its ability to penetrate the skin. Tromethamine is considered a low hazard ingredient. Ethylhexylglycerin is generally considered safe, it has been found to be an irritant to the skin in two studies, causing allergic contact dermatitis.

>> In short, TLDR;; most ingredients are known to help skin becomes smoother, softer and some are for anti-aging, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, soothing, moisturizing and anti-irritant properties, improve hydration, reduce itching also clarifying. Some ingredients are also potential irritants and low hazards. Green Tea, Chestnut, Lavender and Cocoa Seed extracts could be found on the ingredients list too which all of the extracts are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory has cell-protecting function as well. They also have anti-wrinkle/skin firming effects.

The green tea is very gel-like and the bubble which I believe is made up from Agar is quite hard to rupture on the other hand. It's quite hard to mix the bubble together with the green tea gel. You'll have to use the included spatula to rupture the bubble but even with the spatula it's quite hard. Breaking the bubble and mix it with the gel definitely will take some of your time. Is it only me who thinks the gel kinda looks like green mucus? lol sorry not sorry.

Anyway, after you somehow managed to rupture the bubble, it still won't be completely mixed with the gel and you'll ended up with small chunks instead. I usually just slightly press the small chunks when I'm applying it onto my face to dissolve it.

WHAT DO I THINK?

Honestly my expectations for the sleeping pack are very very low from the very beginning so when I first tried it I was like "this is not that bad" because of my low expectations, lol but then as I continue using it, the results are just average indeed. I woke up with just a slightly softer skin however I feel like the claims which is Green Tea for clear and clean skin aren't that misleading at all. I do feel like I woke up with a slightly clearer and cleaner skin. This Green Tea Sleeping Pack definitely isn't for someone who's looking for something moisturizing (Strawberry or Black Tea seems like a better fit for dry skin) because it isn't moisturizing enough especially for those with normal to dry skin. I tried using two bubbles instead of one because it's said on the packaging that for better moisturizing effect, use two bubbles but I don't think there's any difference from using one or two bubbles, lol. As it's targeted for those who wants clear and clean skin, it's also supposed to help with enlarged pores and excessive oil so it's more suitable for oily to combination skin. Tbh, I don't notice much changes on my pores and on the oil control. I honestly don't recommend this sleeping pack that much and imo it's better to get something else instead of this but if the packaging is just too attractive to pass by, it's not hurt to try one albeit I strongly don't recommend to get three of them like what I did lol. Even the result is just average, I find it's still better than the Aritaum Fresh Power Essence Pouch Pack (reviewed here).

PROS.

1. Ultra cute packaging, lol.
2. The claims aren't that misleading at all.
3. Woke up with slightly softer skin.
4. Didn't break me out.
5. More suitable for oily to combination skin.
6. Most ingredients help skin becomes smoother, softer and are anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, clarifies, reduce itching, hydrates, soothes the skin.
7. Has a nice scent.

CONS.

1. Not moisturizing.
2. The bubble tea is hard to break and mix with the gel.
3. Some ingredients are low hazard, potential irritants, low toxicity.
